Trinity Remains Undefeated in Tournament!

The Trinity Eagles took a soggy field at 9:30 this morning against East Hill Christian School from the Florida Panhandle. As the rain gave way to falling temperatures and gusting winds, Trinity played at the top of their game and came away with a 2-o shutout to secure a spot in the semi-finals later in the afternoon. Scoring for Trinity was Rick Hayley and Adam Weissinger.

Later in the afternoon Trinity faced their toughest opponent of the tournament yet, but continued to play tough. This team was the only one so far that has been able to get a ball past keeper Trevvor Vordenbaum, but it wasn’t enough to get the best of Trinity. James Hayley came through for his team, scoring twice and winning a spot for Tinity in tomorrow’s final game for the NACA National Championship.

As a side note, Trinity is playing up a division, facing teams that come from High Schools with an enrollment of 300-600 students. Please pray for our boys as they play for the title tomorrow at 12:30 Eastern, 11:30 Central.

  1. Go, Eagles! The students back at school have been thrilled to hear of your success each day during this tournament. We are so proud to be represented on and off of the field by such fine young men. Well done, Trinity Eagles Soccer Team!
