Trinity Soccer Program Still Strong
Despite the loss of 10 seniors last year, Trinity’s boys’ Varsity soccer team, coached by Dick Hayley, is doing extremely well this season with a record of 15 wins, 3 ties, and 3 losses. Half of the Varsity team is comprised of 8th graders, making this record even more impressive. So far the team has played in four different tournaments; they have won first place in two of these and been second in another. The most recent tournament took place in Lilburn, Georgia, at Killian Hills. Trinity beat Tallulah Falls, Killian Hills, and Bob Jones Academy. The Junior Varsity, coached by Tony Johnson, is also doing well with a record of 13-2-1. Both teams continue to excel and surpass both odds and expectations.
Please pray for the varsity as the travel to Pensacola Florida for a tournament this weekend.
