Trinity Varsity Boys Soccer Victorious in Season Opener

The first game of the season was a 6-0 victory for the Trinity Christian School Soccer Team, coached by Dick Hayley.  Field conditions were good with high humidity, an overcast sky and dark clouds at Bible Baptist Christian School in Hampton Georgia on Tuesday the 15th.  The game started at 5 pm with a group prayer.  Trinity captains Tad York and Trevor Vordenbaum led the Eagles to a solid win.  Winston Durbin opened the scoring for Trinity, and was followed by Matt King and Ellis Godwin, and finally a Jacob Hayley goal off a big assist from his brother Rick.  Several saves by goalkeeper Trevor Vordenbaum resulted in a halftime score of 4-0.  The second half scoring was again led off by Winston Durbin, and followed by the game ending goal of Jacob Hayley.  The evening ended with both teams thanking and praising God, and giving Him the glory for a great contest.
