Senior Rhetoric Speech 2012: Grant

On Thursday, April 26 2012 the TCS seniors presented their senior rhetoric speeches. This is a very special day for them and for our whole school. Many of us consider these speeches to be the capstone of a Trinity Christian School education and of a classical Christian education. A Trinity education is more than just college preparation in a safe place. It is the formation of a worldview. (It could be argued that all schools contribute to the formation of a worldview, so perhaps I should say a purposefully engaging Christian worldview). A classical Christian K-12 education culminates with the grammatical skills of memorization of facts, well-developed skills of logical thinking and reasoning, and finely honed rhetorical skills of winsome and persuasive speaking.
Over the next several days I will post the speeches made by the 2012 graduating class. They are well worth watching. These young men and women truly have something to say.
