Trinity Improves to 5-0 with Triumph over Killian Hill

Trinity Christian School’s varsity soccer team handily defeated perennially tough rival Killian Hill Christian School of Lilburn, Georgia, by the score of 4-1 on Friday in Opelika.  Eagle backs William Patton, DJ Johnson and Will Givens stymied the Cougar attack, limiting them to only 5 shots on Trinity’s goal for the afternoon.  Matt King spearheaded Trinity’s balanced offense with a goal and an assist.  Matt Barks, Lawson Durbin and Rick Hayley also hammered home goals for the Eagles.  All 18 of Trinity’s players saw extensive action in their most fiercely contested game of the season.  The Eagles varsity will take to their home field again at 4 pm on Monday,  September 10th against the Heart of Georgia Homeschool Vipers from Byron, while their JV (1-0) will face Grace Christian Academy of Fayetteville, Georgia, at home on Friday the 7th at 4 pm.
