LaGrange Academy Falls to Trinity Christian

On Tuesday afternoon in Opelika, the varsity boys soccer team of Trinity Christian School toppled LaGrange Academy by the score of 6-0.  Trevor Vordenbaum and Sam Schuessler shared goalkeeper duties to post the Eagles’ 7th shutout of the season.  The Trinity backfield, led by DJ Johnson, Will Givens and Chandler Johnson, limited the Warrior offense to only 6 shots on their goal.  Winston Durbin, Matt King, Vordenbaum, Ellis Godwin, William Patton, and Rick Hayley all scored for Trinity.  Tad York and Hayley each also provided an assist.  The Eagles’ varsity side, which is now 12-0 on the season, will return to the pitch in Birmingham against the Excaliber club team on Friday at 6 pm.
