You just have to love the titles that Roger Lien comes up with for his press releases. Sometimes you have to read them twice to really appreciate them. Following is Dr. Liens recent recap of TCS basketball:

On Thursday night the Trinity Christian School varsity boys basketball team overcame Faith Christian School in Roanoke by the score of 63-52.  Sam Schuessler led the Eagles with 17 points and 11 boards.  Trevor Vordenbaum with 14 points and 13 boards, and Rick Hayley with 16 points, 3 assists and 4 steals, also had a stellar evening for Trinity.  The Trinity JV boys topped Grace Christian School in Columbus on Friday night by the score of 28-18 to go to 13-5 on the season.  Lee Schuessler had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles, while Josh Hartselle added 5 points and 10 boards.  Matt Humphrey added 4 steals and Ellis Godwin dished out 3 assists.  Trinity’s varsity also triumphed over the Crusaders by the score of 47-41.  William Patton paced the Eagles with 19 points, while Rick Hayley added 13 points, 4 assists and 8 steals, and Trevor Vordenbaum pulled down 10 boards.  Both of Trinity’s teams will return to action against Holy Ground Christian Academy in Roopville, GA, on Tuesday evening.
