Trinity Splits Pair with Holy Ground
On Tuesday night in Roopville, Georgia, the Trinity Christian School JV boys basketball team lost to Holy Ground Christian Academy by the score of 29-26. The Eagles were led by William Patton with 18 points and 6 steals, while Lee Schuessler added 9 rebounds. Trinity’s JVs are now 13-6 for the season. The Eagle varsity won their third game in a row by the score of 65-51. Rick Hayley paced Trinity with 18 points, 10 assists and 5 steals. Sam Schuessler poured in 23 points and pulled down 12 boards, while Trevor Vordenbaum added 13 rebounds. The Eagle varsity improved to 5-10 for the year. Trinity’s teams will return to the hardwood for their final ICSGA south region games against Westside Christian Academy in Warner Robbins, Georgia, on Friday evening.
